A Practical Approach to Clinical Governance - On Demand Leadership Program
We’ve been in your shoes! We know what its like to be a clinician one day and a leader the next, transitioning into new roles quite often with little formal support, learning as we go. That’s why we’ve developed this practical program, to give you an introduction to clinical governance and how to drive quality and safety in your role as a leader in the health aged care, community or disability sector.
This practical program (did we mention that its practical?) has been developed based on our own experience working across health, aged care and the community sector in clinical, people management, program and project management and in quality and policy development roles. We know that your time is precious so we have created four x 90 minute online sessions that you can watch in your own time to get an understanding of the following key aspects:
What is Clinical Governance and what is my role in driving Clinical Governance?
Data: Using Data to monitor performance and drive improvement ( We promise that this won’t be dry!)
Continuous Improvement - Using the PDSA model to practically make improvements
Communicating for change - Getting your team onboard to support and drive improvement initiatives
We will also allocate you with a mentor for this program. Your mentor will check in with you after each session and will be available to answer any questions. Check out our mentors and their experience below.
Please note that this program is not just for clinical staff - It is for both clinical and non clinical leaders in the care sectors.
